Neocodec 1.2.7/build51 — GPL corresponding source ======================================================================== Neocodec 1.2.7/build51 uses the FFmpeg and ffprobe 9.0.2 commercial pair identified below. App-version-to-helper mappings are retained in the source README. The prepared commercial helper set contains three independent open-source command-line programs, intended as separate helper executables in Contents/Helpers/ (run as child processes, never linked into the app): ffmpeg 9.0.2-neocodec-commercial GPLv3 or later sha256 a6e35d85f8566edac5944b45552a4035772b4f0a9ca5b933998e9436182957cf ffprobe 9.0.2-neocodec-commercial GPLv3 or later sha256 141e155fd6c8cd7f7078512cb604fbc70ef8980c49d7780294d285ba588cd30f gifsicle 1.96 GPLv2 only sha256 9bb32495a20b9abb77e6be5f23db751aec59782b32d77cf13de5054b3caf46b7 ffmpeg and ffprobe are one static arm64 build from FFmpeg 9.0.2, x264 at commit 0480cb05fa188d37ae87e8f4fd8f1aea3711f7ee, SVT-AV1 3.1.2, libvpx 1.16.0, and Opus 1.6.1. The build uses --enable-gpl --enable-version3 and is therefore GPLv3-or-later. It deliberately does not build or link x265 and disables HEVC encoding and decoding. gifsicle is GPLv2-only. Those SHA-256 values identify the prepared binaries before bundle assembly. Bundle assembly re-signs each helper with Neocodec's signing identity, which changes the bytes, so a shipped helper will not have the same digest. Run `Contents/Helpers/ffmpeg -version` to identify its version and configure line. Complete corresponding source, checksums, and commercial build recipes for published releases are available to anyone, free of charge, at: https://neocodec.com/source The source-only archive qualified on 6 October 2026 is: https://neocodec.com/source/neocodec-ffmpeg-9.0.2-commercial-source-f796441ef0ddcc252b5cfa5e50c7c45d2b7502a0752c5c5ca2a1423bf495eebc.tar.xz sha256 f796441ef0ddcc252b5cfa5e50c7c45d2b7502a0752c5c5ca2a1423bf495eebc bytes 40095792 It contains the current build disclosure and hardened packager. The build recipe, configure flags and compiled source pins match the previously qualified helper pair; this source-only qualification did not rebuild helpers. The older archive neocodec-ffmpeg-9.0.2-commercial-source.tar.xz, sha256 a8613b5fab18d662aca82bcd39918fbbd77a21d07db40a6f48fb212779446a72, remains retained with its original bytes. The source is hosted for as long as any corresponding binary remains distributed. The full GPLv3, GPLv2, LGPLv2.1, SVT-AV1 BSD-3-Clause-Clear and legacy BSD-2-Clause, Alliance for Open Media Patent License, libvpx license and additional patent grant, and Opus license texts also ship inside the app under Settings > About > Licenses. The proprietary Neocodec application is a separate work that invokes these programs as child processes; this notice identifies those bundled helpers and their corresponding source.
